A framed contemporary photo print of the last pitch at Crosley Field. Crosley Field was the home field of the Cincinnati Reds. The stadium, under a different name, was built in 1912 and it was called Redland Field. When Powell Crosley bought the Reds in 1933, the stadium was part of the deal, he changed the name to Crosley Field. The San Francisco Giants were the last opponents that the Reds played, the last game was on June 24th, 1970. The pitcher was Wayne Granger, the batter was Bobby Bonds, Tito Fuentes was on deck and the catcher was Hall of Fame player Johnny Bench.
