An original mixed media painting on canvas of a figure by contemporary American artist Cindy Klaserner Walker. The acrylic painting depicts a standing female nude with flowers tucked into her bun and her arms resting on a ledge, viewed from behind. She stands in an ambiguous interior, surrounded by loose marks in complimentary hues of yellow and purple that suggest floral forms, and gestural charcoal lines that define her form. This piece is signed to the center of the right side. The stretched canvas is presented unframed, with a black grosgrain ribbon adhered to the canvas edges, and is ready to hang with a wire.

Walker is a 1975 graduate of Edgecliff College, where she made her artistic debut at Emery Galleries with a one woman show. After a short stint as a high school art teacher, she entered the corporate world in Houston, Texas as a drafter-designer developing engineering drawings. These technical skills, combined with inspiration from her travels and everyday life, inform her personal artistic endeavors. She currently lives and works in northern Kentucky where she maintains an active studio and continues to explore in a variety of media.
