Porcelain Tableware Including Theodore Haviland Limoges 1903-23

A selection of porcelain tableware including fourteen cream soup bowls and ten saucers. The early 20th century Theodore Haviland bowls and saucers feature a red foliate pattern with heart form medallions, scroll accents, a red band border, and gilding throughout. The pieces have ‘Burley & Company Chicago’ manufacturer marks and ‘Theodore Haviland Limoges’ decorator marks placing production between 1903-1923. The pair of bowls with a gilt border and foliate handles were produced between 1894-1931 and are marked ‘Haviland & Co. Limoges’ while the four Silesia bowls have a delicate white and pink floral pattern and have a maker’s mark indicating production between 1900-1920. Also included are four vintage crystal bud vases with flared rims and footed bases. Two are marked ‘Made in Western Germany’ to the label.
Condition
- vases have discoloration and residue to underside; loss of gilding; surface scratches; mark to inside of one bowl.
