A power-loomed Chinese medallion carved wool area rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of ivory, camel, and sky blue. The ivory colored field features a sculpted central medallion with scrolling foliate motifs, and framed in a sparsely patterned border of medallions, and other symbolic forms. Finishing the rug are serged edges and an ivory fringe to the ends, as well as labels to the underside.
