A Louis XV style bergere chair by Fairfield. This chair features a carved shell crest, cushioned back, cushion arm rests with carved hand holds and curved supports and oversized cushion seat. The piece includes a carved shell finial on upholstered apron and it rises up on cabriole legs ending in scroll feet. The piece is marked ‘Fairfield’ to the interior seat decking and is upholstered in a burgundy hue fabric.
