Antique Phone Generators

Item Details

A pair of antique phone generators. The first in this pair is a wood cased bridging generator. Bridging generators were used to bridge calls between phone lines. Engraved on the wood case is the wording ‘For Sue by the Dist. of Col. Only’ and ‘Bridging’. The wooden door opens to reveal the metal generator. The second in this pair of a Western Electric Company generator.
