Item Details
A reproduction medieval roof boss and chalkware head by Bosson’s. This decorative sculpture depicts an elderly Scrooge in ivory nightcap and dressing gown. This figure was issued as part of a series of Dicken’s inspired sculptures. It and bears an impressed logo to the verso with hardware for hanging. It is accompanied by a reproduction medieval roof boss. The piece was crafted with stone removed from the 14th century cathedral, depicting ‘The Murder of Thomas à Becket on 29th Dec. 1170 A.D’ in relief. It is finished with green felt to the verso with a descriptive label.
Condition
- minor marks and faint scratches throughout consistent with gentle use.
