Federal Period Bow Front Chest

A Federal period bow front chest. This case piece is constructed from cherry with birdseye maple inlays and features a curved, bow front over four stacked drawers with beehive style, turned brass knobs and stamped plate escutcheons. It rises on arrow feet and has an unfinished, wood plank back.

Condition

- the drawers are not completely flush with the case. There is minor loss to the inlaid trim and borders and a crack to one of the backplates of the drawer pulls.
