Wm A. Rogers "Carlton" Silver Plate Master Butter Knife and Silver Plate Ladle
Item Details
A Wm A Rogers Carlton silver plate master butter knife and silver plate ladle. The Carlton pattern was patented in 1898 and has a double curved stem with a flower design at the terminal with feathered, beaded and scrolled detailing along the edges of the handle. The back is marked by Wm A. Rogers. This is presented with an 1847 Rogers Bros ladle in the Olive pattern. The flared fiddle handle has a reeded border along the edges with scrolled detailing at the terminal with olive leaf accents. The back is marked 1847 Rogers Bros.
Condition
some surface wear with faint markings and minimal tarnishing on the butter knife and significant wear and tarnishing on the ladle
