A collection of petrified wood specimens. This collection of six specimens of petrified wood features a set of bookends fashioned from a single piece of petrified wood that retains some of the original interior wood structure and much of the exterior bark structure. Additional samples display permineralized wood in shades of red, brown and black with varying degrees of preservation for the interior and exterior structure of the wood.
