A reproduction print on fabric after an engraving titled The Aviary, or Bird Fancyers Recreation after artist J. Laughton. The piece depicts an assortment of bird-related imagery interspersed with information about various species of birds, rendered in a palette of pink against an off-white ground. The textile is titled in plate to the center, with the artist’s name noted in plate to the lower right. It is matted in rose and presented under glass in a black wooden frame fitted with hanging wire to the verso.
