A late 19th-century color lithograph print on paper after an 1863 image titled Camp of Massachusetts Sixth Regt. Vols., Suffolk, Va.. The piece depicts the Civil War Suffolk, Virginia encampment used by the Sixth Regiment Infantry of the Massachusetts Union Army volunteer militia. The unsigned print is titled in plate to the lower center with additional notes below that read ‘Published by I.C. Eastman Bookseller & Stationer Lowell Mass, From an original drawing in possession of Col A.S. Follansbee’. It is double matted in brown and green and presented under glass in a green and gold tone wooden frame.

Condition

- uneven toning, discoloration and mat burn throughout print; slight warping to paper; minor wear and scratching to frame; holes drilled to left and right edges of frame; no hanging hardware present; minor wear to backing paper.
