A pair of ink drawings of large buildings on paper, one marked ‘M.S.Th.’ to a lower corner and the other ‘Fürstenau i. O.’ These pieces each depict the structures with thoughtful detail, featuring a view of one along the edge of a lightly rippling body of water and the other from the center of a courtyard lined with ivy. One drawing appears to have been rendered with dip pen while the other seems to use pale ink wash. Both are matted under glass and are presented in gold tone frames with wires for hanging.

Condition

- fair; glass could be cleaned more thoroughly; light wear to frame finishes.
