A hand-knotted and carved Chinese area rug. This wool area rug features a color palette of cream, mauve, mint, rose and pale gray. The field is patterned with four arrangements of rounded vases and floral sprays. It is framed with a border of stylized scroll designs and palmettes. Finished with overcast selvedges and fringe to either end. Marked to verso with ‘Made in China’.
