An oil on canvas painting titled Breezy Day Antrim Coast by listed Irish painter Maurice Canning Wilks, (1910–1984). This landscape painting details a scene of the Antrim Coast located in northern Ireland. The tide nestles on the rocky shore beneath the expansive clear blue sky. The painting is signed to the lower right and the title is written to reverse of canvas. The piece is housed in a classical carved wooden frame.

Wilks is known for his landscape paintings inspired by Irish northern and western counties including Antrim, Donegal and Kerry. He began attending evening classes at the Belfast College of Art, and later exhibited at the Royal Hibernian Academy in Dublin where he eventually taught. He grew to receive international recognition and exhibited widely, later becoming a part of public collections.
