An offset lithograph on paper titled ‘The Battle of Gettysburg’ after an 1884 chromolithograph by Kurz & Allison.This piece depicts a battlefield scene, described with an inscription to the lower left: a ‘decisive conflict, July 3rd, 4 P.M., 1863.’ The image was originally designed by Austrian Civil War veteran Louis Kurz (1835–1921). This piece is presented under glass with a green mat, accented with ten lead minié balls. It is fitted in a wood frame and finished with wire to the verso for hanging.

- surface wear to frame; chip to left side of frame.
