A hand-knotted Persian area rug. This wool carpet is hand-knotted in a palette of madder red, golden-green, midnight blue, coral, black, cream, olive and pale gray. It features a diamond shaped central medallion made up of floral branches with floral meander borders. It has overcast selvedges and short applied fringe to either end. Labeled to verso.
