Hand-Knotted Persian Hamadan Carpet Runner

Item Details

A hand-knotted Persian Hamadan carpet runner. This wool carpet is hand-knotted in a palette of cinnamon red, ocean blue, coral, ocher, cream, peach, midnight blue, and charcoal gray. It has a hexagonal shaped central medallion with pendants to either side and sawtooth edges. The field and corners are patterned with geometric _herati_style designs. Finished with overcast selvedges and short fringe to either end. Marked to verso.
