A Wang Dalong oil on canvas Chinese genre painting. The painting uses a gray-tone palette to depict a traditional hutong of siheyuan courtyard homes. A lone figure sweeps the street as a warm light descends down the building facades. The painting is signed ‘Wang Dalong’ (王大泷) and dated 2003 at lower left. The piece is presented in a simple black wooden frame with hanging wire on verso.
