An original oil painting on canvas by Maude Ciardi. The work depicts a beach scene with numerous sailboats out at sea. It is signed to the lower left corner and housed in an ornately carved gold tone wooden frame with acanthus leaf detailing to the corners.

- frame is broken to the top right corner
- paint has slight age cracking in several spots
