Modernized 1825 Seth Thomas Pillar and Scroll Shelf Clock
Item Details
A modernized 1825 Seth Thomas style pillar and scroll shelf clock. The clock features a scroll-top case, painted wooden Arabic numeral dial and a lower reverse-painted tablet with gilt border and pendulum aperture. The case dates to 1825, the lower glass has been replaced and a contemporary battery powered movement was at one point fitted in a hole in the back.
