A Yoruba style carved wooden sculpture. This piece resembles works by the Yoruba people and culture of Southwestern and north-central Nigeria. Featured is a group of stylized human figures standing near a figure on horseback. Four of the figures are depicted with bare, pointed heads while the man on horseback is depicted carrying a weapon and wearing an elaborate headpiece. This handcrafted item is unmarked.
