An original oil painting on canvas by listed American painter G. Whitman (born 1928). This landscape painting depicts quiet river flowing through a snow covered forest near the foot of a craggy mountain peak. The work is signed ‘G. Whitman’ in the lower right. It is presented in a wood and gesso frame with a linen liner. There is a hanging bracket mounted to the verso.
