A generous ten-piece assortment of vintage silver plate serveware. Featured is a rectangular footed tray with a scroll-and-shell rim and scalloped center, a Paul Revere Reproduction bowl by Oneida, a wide rim bowl, a scalloped two-tier tidbit tray with handle, a shallow double handle porringer by Friedman Silver Co., a footed wide rim bowl with decorative edge by Forbes Silver Co., a footed octagonal bowl, a double vegetable bowl with reeded trim by Pairpoint, a double vegetable bowl with etched foliate and lattice designs, a pedestal compote with an anthemion rim, and a wood-handled chafing dish with a claw-foot pedestal stand. Some of the items bear maker’s marks to the undersides.
Condition
- surface wear including scratches and various stages of tarnish; the wood finial on the chafing pan is chipped at the base.
