Vintage 1920s-30s Beaded Handbag
Item Details
A vintage, circa 1920s or ‘30s, hand-beaded handbag. The bag has a brass tone metal frame and clasp at the top, with raised heart patterns, and a short rolo chain handle. The frame has holes drilled through, to which the body of the bag is attached. The body of the bag is completely covered with small, black faceted beads, and the sides and bottom of the bag are trimmed with fringe, made of loops of the same black beads. The interior is lined in gold-colored satin, and there are no maker’s labels.

- to Fair; some stains on lining; few stray threads and missing fringe loops; tarnish to brass frame and chain handle
