A group of mint blocks, loose stamps and commemorative envelopes. This group includes several blocks of mint stamps, notably Mackinac Bridge (1958), John Muir (1964) and Christmas Madonna and Child (1975). It also includes cancelled and mint loose stamps representing people and themes such as Winston Churchill, Arctic Explorations, seashells, U.S. flags, U.S. Presidents, space exploration and more. A First Day of Issue cover dated Sept 28, 1945 featuring an Army stamp, a First Day of Issue cover dated August 27, 1973 commemorating Lyndon Baines Johnson as 36th President of the United States, and assorted other commemorative envelopes complete this collection. Some of the stamps are tucked in protective plastic sleeves or envelopes, most are loose.
