A vintage handwoven Persian Kashan wool accent rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of cranberry, deep plum, azure, gold, ivory, rose, and sage. The cranberry colored field begins with a diamond pendant medallion, while featuring scrolling floral sprays, and coordinating spandrels. Framing the field is a main herati patterned border with a carnation meander guard border. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a short ivory wool warp fringe to the ends. It is labeled to the underside.
