A recast bronze sculpture of an eagle after well-listed animalier sculptor Jules Moigniez (French, 1835–1894). This sculpture depicts a perched bird of prey with its wings raised and head extended. The eagle features intricately detailed feathers, sharp talons, and piercing eyes. This sculpture is presented atop a round two-toned marble base with a gold tone plaque specifying the artist affixed to the center margin.
