A seventy-six volume collection of antique to vintage fiction and nonfiction books. Featured is the signed first edition of The Long Harpoon: A Collection of Whaling Anecdotes written and illustrated by Arthur C. Watson (G.H. Reynolds, New Bedford, Massachusetts, 1929). The collection also includes four volumes in Heath’s Modern Language Series that are titled Quelques Contes, La Tâche du Petite Pierre, La Chute, and Les Femmes Savantes. Eleven volumes with leather bindings and gilt lettering from Everyman’s Library are featured along with other poetry books, plays, essays, histories and fictional titles.
