Antique Floral Motif Pitcher

Item Details

A floral motif pitcher. The pitcher features an aqua transfer print pattern with floral blossoms on small branches to either side. The wide rim displays fan accents while the neck has flared panels. The handle exhibits molded ridged accents and the spherical body ends in a footed base. There is no visible maker’s mark to the pitcher which is typical of earthenware produced in the late 19th century. It would have been used with a wash basin as a set.
