A vintage machine made Kashimir area rug by Couristan . This rug features a color palette of muted orange, yellow, cream, dove gray, black, and rust. The field is patterned with Shah Abbasi style palmettes and curvilinear vines and these motifs are carried to the borders. It has applied fringe to either end and it is marked to the verso.
