Pair of Antique Cross-Stitch Artworks on Linen
Item Details
A pair of antique cross-stitch artworks on linen. Includes one piece depicting a train labeled ‘The Dewitt Clinton 1831’ and one piece depicting a ship labeled ‘The Clermont 1807’. Each is presented in a black frame under glass with a wire in verso for hanging. They appear to be signed ‘P.J. Harring’ on the reverse of the frame.
Condition
- scratches and wear to the edges of each frame; some residue on each glass; each glass could benefit from a cleaning; discoloration to the surface of each item; staining to the edges of each linen; to the verso of each frame, rips, wear, and warping to the protective backing.
