Antique Knights Templar Semi-Vitreous Porcelain Plates

A selection of antique cabinet plates featuring three Pennsylvania Knights Templar annual plates. The 1906 Annual Conclave plates depict 19th century American families in their homes with gilt floral and ribbon designs to the dark red verges. The 1907 Triennial palate offers a print of a woman and child in Classical clothing embracing with a gilt verge and beading to the edges. The plates were produced by Knowles, Taylor & Knowles in 1906-07 in East Liverpool, Ohio. Also included is an early 20th century Moschendorf porcelain plate depicting classical figures adorning a statue with garlands of flowers with gilt floral and scroll borders to the dark blue verge. It is marked ‘Royal Bavaria P.M.B’ to the underside.

Condition

- some of the gilding has faded or worn off; scratches and wear to designs; crazing to underside of one plate.
