Pair of White Ceramic Planters

A pair of white ceramic planters, the first planter is of a figure wearing a sombrero leaning against an embossed tree trunk. This piece is stamped to the bottom ‘Made in Japan’ The second white planter is in the shape of a bird, sitting on the edge of a container with an embossed scrolled rim and embossed base. The bird has a lot of detail to his body, with embossed wings and neck. The bottom of this planter is not marked.

Condition

- underglaze crazing is present on the figure with the sombrero.
