A needlepoint Savonnerie wool accent rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of ivory, gold, wine, rose, powder blue, slate blue, and olive green. The ivory colored field features an ornate large medallion in a floral and foliate theme, while bordered in highly detailed roses and other flowers with scrolling leaves and architectural style patterns including egg and dart motifs. Finishing the rug are folded edges and ends, and it goes unlabeled.
