Vintage Monogrammed Driving Horse Bridle With Blinkers

Item Details

A vintage monogrammed driving horse bridle with blinkers. The piece features a brown leather headstall with winkerstay and crown piece; tan leather browband with brown leather facedrop; brown leather blinkers with brass embellishments and a brown leather noseband with metal hoops for rein attachment. There are no buckles for a bit noted. The facedrop features a brass plaque to the front engraved with the monogram ‘CJM’. There are no discernible maker’s marks.

Condition

- leather is dry and cracked in spots; some oxidation to metal; some dust and residue noted.
