A semi-antique, hand knotted Persian Mashhad room size rug, circa 1940s. This lamb’s wool rug features a center medallion on a rectangular field, populated with floral and vine motifs, in a palette of burgundy, blues, teal, scarlet, sand, emerald, chocolate and cream. The field is surrounded by a compound floral border, and the far ends have close-cropped white fringe. The rug is tagged underneath.
