A hand-knotted Chinese carved wool area rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of aqua, ivory, sage, camel, mauve, rust, and powder blue. The aqua colored field begins with a sculpted floral bouquet surrounded with a wreath of blooms, and framed in a broken border of flowers, with large sprays at each corner. Finishing the rug are overcast selvedges and an ivory warp fringe to the ends. Unlabeled.
