An antique curule style armchair by the H. C. Dexter Company. This chair features an oval open back with a bat-shaped cutout medallion, a nailhead trimmed leather backrest, carved scrolled paw armrests, a curved seat, splayed legs, and scrolled feet. The chair is marked with a maker’s sticker to the bottom.
