A hand-knotted Persian Hamadan carpet runner. This wool carpet is hand-knotted in a palette of ruby, goldenrod, slate blue, green,coral-pink, navy, and white. The field is patterned with hexagonal and rhomboid shaped medallions with saw-tooth edges. Also patterning the field are angular florals and oak leaves. It is framed with dotted line and carnation meander borders. Finished with overcast selvedges and fringe to either end. Unlabeled.
