An 1861 first edition two volume hardcover set of A Journey to Great-Salt-Lake City by Jules Remy. The French author recounts his travels to the newly-founded city of the Mormons, along with a history of their movement. Both volumes are illustrated with steel plate engravings, and bound in full leather hardcovers. There is a fold-out map to Vol. I. Published in 1861 by W. Jeffs of London.

- normal paper yellowing; covers are in quite good condition considering age and may be non-original; library stamps to page edges of Vol. I.
