A vintage, hand knotted Persian Kashan area rug. This wool rug features a center medallion and floral motifs on a lozenge-shaped field in a palette of reds, blues, gold and cream. The field is bounded by principally red spandrels and surrounded by a Herati major border within Bidjar minor borders, and the far ends have off-white fringe. The rug is tagged underneath.
