Item Details
An oil painting on board by listed artist K. Stein (20th century). The painting depicts a precise rendering, in vibrant color, of a fox hunt in an autumn landscape. One of the red-jacketed riders, on a white horse, is jumping over a split rail fence directly behind the hounds that are racing diagonally through the right foreground, creating a sense of rapid movement across the composition. The work is signed in orange paint to the lower left. It is housed in a gold tone beveled wood frame and is ready to hang with a wire.

- accretion across painting surface. Several small areas of paint loss to center, in the sky. Minor wear to frame finish.
