Bohemian Style Gilt Glass Decanter and Stemware
Item Details
A Bohemian style gilt glass decanter and stemware set. Included is a slender, footed decanter with an elongated teardrop stopper and flared neck. It is accompanied by a set of four goblets, each with a gently twisted stem which rests on a round base. Each piece is composed of translucent emerald glass, hand-painted with a floral motif on a gilt ground. The neck and stopper of the decanter as well as the foot of each piece are finished with gilt trim. The pieces bear no discernible maker’s marks.
Condition
- spotting and some gentle wear to gilt trim; minor marks and faint scratches throughout.
