Antique Carved Oak Italian Cabinet

Item Details

An antique carved oak Italian cabinet. The heavily carved piece has a rectangular, beveled top over two aligned drawers and a pair of carved panels. The drawers feature carved stylised faces with scrolls and incised leaf forms flanked by carved floral blocks. The panels are embellished with game birds hanging by their feet within raised ovals with scrolled decoration and pressed trim, flanked by rails with carved grapes, ivy, pinecones, and flower heads. Companion piece listed under 17BAL170-082. There are no visible maker’s marks.
