Item Details
An oil painting on canvas titled Girl in Interior attributed to Spanish artist Rafael Herida Ortega (born 1901). This piece depicts the interior of a room with a girl in a pink and blue dress knelt at a tea table. The room is lit by a large, partially-draped window on one wall and is decorated with a statue of the Winged Victory of Samothrace and a folding screen with clothes draped over the top. It is signed ‘R. Ortega Sevilla’ to the lower right corner and includes a short bio on the artist and information on the painting. The work is presented in a wood frame with a fabric liner and wire to the verso for hanging.
