An original oil painting on canvas of a coastal village by listed American artist Robert Brubaker (1921 – 2011). This gestural, expressive work depicts an old world style village with a flurry of seagulls flying amongst red tiled roofs and sun-warmed stucco buildings near a beach lined waterway crowded with sailboats. The piece is signed by the artist to the lower left corner. It is presented in a beveled wooden frame with a white painted inner frame and a black outer frame.
