A signed Laura Ross stoneware and reed lidded vase. It has a gently rounded form with small, fitted lid, and features a muted color palette with a sprayed and hand-painted grape and foliate pattern on the surface. The small rounded lid which rests on top of the vase form is adorned with decorative wooden reeds and other plant material. This item is marked ‘Laura Ross’ on the underside of its base. Laura Ross is a recognized ceramicist from Prospect, Kentucky, whose work is showcased at the Kentucky Artisan Center at Berea, Kentucky.
