Item Details
An oil painting on canvas by well-listed American artist and illustrator Jacob Knight (1938-1994). This fantastical scene depicts a woman in blue holding an owl beneath a line of tropical fruit trees in which a monkey sits. Jungle plants grow around her feet and a lion, elephant, and wolf all observe the scene. The landscape behind is one of rolling hills, with the moon watching overhead. It is signed in paint to the lower left corner and presented in a wood frame with wire to the verso for hanging.

- minor wear throughout the frame; tears to paper backing.
