A vintage Empire style birch rocking chair. This chair features a straight crest rail and decorative, curved spindles flanked by stiles with curved and carved ears joining sloping armrests with scroll handholds. The chair features a button tufted cushion seat rising on curved legs with carved feet terminating on rockers. There are no visible maker’s marks.
